GREAT PULTENEY STREET

The celebrated architect Thomas Baldwin constructed Great Pulteney Street in 1789, at the behest of Sir William Pulteney. 1000 feet by 100 feet it has classical proportions reminiscent of French boulevards and remains one of Bath's breath taking sights.
